What is vector art?
There are two different kinds of graphics files used by computers, "bitmap" art, and "vector" art.
Bitmap art file types (BMP, .GIF, .JPG or .JPEG,.PCX, .PNG) generally have too low a resolution to give superior results and cannot be used in most decorating processes.
Vector file formats include .EPS and .PDF with designs created and manipulated by professional drawing software products such as Adobe Illustrator®, and Corel Draw®. When the text is "converted to outlines" your font will appear exactly as it was created.
What type of file should I send and where do I send it?
Once your order has been placed, please email a vectored .EPS or vectored .PDF file, with all text converted to outlines to Executived@aol.com (In the case of full color digital printing, we will need a 300 dpi JPEG file).
Can you help me with my logo format?
As an added service, we can handle your custom artwork from start to finish. For a minimal charge, we can convert low resolution logos into usable vector art.
What is the charge for art services?
Every project is different and art itself varies from basic to complex. We'll take a look at your art and provide you with a custom quote for services. The cost for basic artwork conversion is $25, with more complex jobs ranging up to $100.
How long does it take for artwork design?
We strive to complete your artwork design as fast as possible to keep your project on track and on deadline. Please call us and we'll get your artwork design on the fast-track!
Ordering
Is there a minimum order size?
Minimum order sizes vary with each product ordered. In some cases you may purchase half of the lowest quantity listed in the product price breakdown by paying a "less than minimum" charge, imposed by the individual supplier. If you see something you like and the minimum is too high...call us to see if we can find a solution.
Is there a discount for large quantities?
Yes! The higher the quantity ordered the lower the price per piece will be.
What are set up charges for?
Each supplier charges an initial set up charge, per logo color, to prepare your artwork for decoration of your chosen product(s). This involves creating an engraving die, preparing a screen or digitizing an embroidery tape. In most cases, this is a one-time fee and will not be charged if you reorder the same item, from the same supplier. Suppliers keep artwork and screens from anywhere from one year to ten years, at which time a new set up charge would be assessed.
Are there any other charges?
The unit price shown for each product includes your customized logo or text, unless it is specified as a BLANK item. The base price generally includes a one color logo in one location. For multiple color logos in more than one location on the product, additional set up charges and run charges, per color, are added to the unit cost.
In some cases suppliers charge for custom PMS color matches. If your corporate guidelines specify an exact color number and the factory has to mix special inks for a match, a $10 to $40 charge may be assessed.

Freight charges are not included in unit pricing. The most economical shipping method is used to meet your specific in-hands date. Whenever possible, we strive to avoid overnight and expedited shipping to keep the cost of your promotions down.

Many suppliers reserve the right to ship between 3% and 5% over the quantity ordered and invoice accordingly. This is done for quality control purposes and is unavoidable in certain circumstances. In some cases you can pay a premium to have the exact amount shipped to avoid an over or under shipment.
I saw a product that I like on another website; can I get it from An Executive Decision?
Most definitely! We can get over a million different promotional products. We offer so many; they won't all fit on our web site! So, if you have seen a product on another site, at a recent event or at a local store... just ask! We'll get it for you!
I placed an online order, now what?
We will be in contact with you, usually within one to two hours during our normal business hours, to guide you through the next steps and to answer any questions you may have. If you have not heard from us by the end of the day, please give us a call or send an email to make sure you didn't get lost in cyber space.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept company checks and all major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
When can I expect delivery of my order?
Delivery of your order varies based on the product ordered. Domestic production times range from FREE 24 hour rush service to 15 day service, plus transit time via the most economical method to meet your in-hands date.
Samples
How do I get a sample?
We are happy to provide samples to customers and prospective customers! We're proud of our products and we are happy to share samples of them with you. In most cases there is no charge for samples, however, you may be asked to provide a UPS or FedEx shipper number to cover the cost of freight.
Occasionally, some samples (higher priced clothing, business accessories and awards) require a credit card guarantee. Many of the more expensive samples can be returned to the vendor within a set period of time. If the samples are not returned on time, your credit card will be charged and the samples are yours to keep.
What is a pre-production sample?
A pre-production sample is the exact product and imprint color of the product you will be receiving from the factory. Normal set up charges, a pre-production sample charge, sales tax and frieght are invoiced in addition to the cost of the product. With virtual sample technology (available on our site), it is easy to see your logo on the chosen product and eliminate the extra expense of pre-production samples.
Shipping Information
How does An Executive Decision ship merchandise?
All of our orders are shipped FOB (freight on board). Because all of our merchandise is sent factory direct, An Executive Decision is not responsible for orders that are lost or delayed by common carrier, international or US Customs departments, or by 'acts of nature'. We work closely with you to do whatever it takes to meet your in-hands date and will provide you with tracking numbers so you can check in on your order as it is in transit.
We can also split shipments to different cities or branch locations...just let us know!
I need my order fast, what about rush services?
Rush production and shipping is available for many of our items, often at little or no additional cost. We have a huge selection of products available on a FREE 24 hour rush (plus transit time to make it to your location).
Can I ship my order internationally?
An Executive Decision can accommodate international orders which are shipped through the international divisions of UPS, Federal Express and DHL.
